Welcome to the Los Angeles and San Gabriel Rivers Watershed Council's "Plant Profiler" native plant image and information database for the greater Los Angeles area.
Currently this site includes sixty of our regions most useful native landscape plants and it will grow to include some of our more commonly used selections and hybrids. Please bear with us, certain sections of the site are under construction. Characteristics and scale drawings are still being refined and uploaded. Check back for regular updates.
Instructions:
Search by common name or scientific name of any given plant. You can also search by any one or multiple characteristics using the search tool: . Once you receive your query results, view the plant profile by selecting the profile icon: .
You can also create a favorites list by logging on to our site:  . User information is not shared and only infrequent email will be sent for major updates.
If you would like to print a profile, please set your page orientation to "landscape" in the print settings of your web browser. Screen resolution images are available from each profile for noncommercial purposes.
Please view our image use policy before downloading any images.
This database and website was developed for use with Internet Explorer 6. This site is optimized for a screen resolution of 1024 x 768.
