To achieve our vision of healthy sustainable watersheds we must know where we are and where we are going. The Watershed Monitoring Programs allow us to assess current baseline conditions, determine if conditions are improving or declining, and identify areas to focus more resources.

By monitoring the value of our river systems, from traditional water quality parameters to built features, we are assessing progress towards our goals of improving the quality and reliability of our local water resources and promoting healthy native habitat both in the stream channels and receiving waters.

The following projects are components of our Watershed Monitoring Program:
Los Angeles River Watershed Monitoring
San Gabriel River Regional Watershed Monitoring
San Gabriel River Nurseries an Irrigated Lands Water Quality Improvement Project
Ecosystem Values of Watersheds in Southern California
